Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, and procreation. Also known as goddess Venus in Roman mythology. Aphrodite is the daughter of Zeus and Dione (The daughter of Okenos) in accordance with Homeros. But Hesiodos says Aphrodite was created from the foams of sea waves. Aphrodite has usually been described naked. Her often used attributions are flirty, sobrettish, and charmy. The crew of goddess consists of Kharits, Horas and Hymenaios who are sybolizing the beauty, elegance and fertility.

 

The original statue is 50 cms high and located in Louvre Museum. The identical copy of the bust which is officially permitted from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The bases are made of While marble from Milas, Mugla.
